The Buraq Center hosted a LADIESFUND entrepreneurial training session featuring noted PR expert Shanaz Ramzi as part of a pioneering attempt to encourage financial literacy and entrepreneurship among women in Pakistan. The State Bank of Pakistan provided assistance for the event, which was hosted by Dawood Global Foundation and sponsored by Bank Islami Mashal Women Banking.
Ayesha Ashraf Jangda, Head of Women Banking at Bank Islami, and Faryal Aslam, Assistant Director of the Financial Inclusion Division of the State Bank of Pakistan, among others, provided great insights on financial education. Ms. Faryal’s knowledge shed light on inclusive financial methods, whilst Ms. Ayesha concentrated on Bank Islami's women's offers.
The keynote talk by Shanaz Ramzi, CEO of Starlinks PR, titled "What Does a Woman Want?" was the event's high point. To establish and expand her business." Shanaz’s innovative approach to entrepreneurship and customer service presented guests with actionable advice on overcoming obstacles and attaining company success.
The training program, which was attended by ambitious women looking to improve their financial knowledge, included interactive talks, seminars, and networking opportunities. Dawood Global Foundation President Tara Uzra Dawood stressed the need of empowering women via financial education for societal growth and economic stability.
Ms. Ayesha Ashraf Jangda of BankIslami explained the Mashal Talks project, a financial education and literacy program aiming at closing the gender gap in financial inclusion in Pakistan.
The partnership between Dawood Global Foundation and Bank Islami Mashal Women Banking demonstrates a common commitment to developing financial inclusion and empowerment, which contributes to the overall advancement of women in Pakistan.
