Friedrich Naumann Foundation’s initiative titled SHE LEADS recently collaborated with the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY), and conducted a three-day workshop. It brought together 12 female entrepreneurs in the MENA region with the objective of equipping women entrepreneurs with necessary business skills. The initiative also aims to connect women entrepreneurs with a robust entrepreneurial network.
Featuring several mentorship opportunities, the program also consisted of expert-led workshops. Participants got the opportunity to attend practical sessions which were specifically designed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The three-day workshop also saw business introductions and SWOT analysis. Women entrepreneurs were taken on a field trip to see a successful startup up close to provide them with practical insights.
At the end of the workshop, participants developed personal action plans and established short- and long-term business objectives. They highlighted the importance of these efforts in fostering sustainable growth for women-owned businesses throughout the MENA region.
On the last day, the focus was on planning for the future, enabling attendees to establish achievable objectives. They formulated personalized business plans using the acquired knowledge to guarantee sustained expansion.
