By: GWL Team | Thursday, 24 October 2024

The Data from 2024 Entrepreneurship Map prepared by South Summit shows that Spanish companies are being counted as the most balanced in job distribution terms. It is that one region alongside Europe and Latin America, where women occupy leadership positions.

Chief Technology’s profile still remains linked to males despite having women in leadership roles. However, here it is much lower than that of other vicinities while exceeding a total of 10 percent in APAC. In addition, Spanish women founders’ 18 percent doesn’t even hold management position even after having positioning equality in their startup.

The startups age is 3.19 years and majorly created by males, representing a catastrophic age gap between the startups created by men and women i.e., 59% men and 10% women.

The need of increased women’s representation has to be prioritised and women should be motivated more towards pursuing their dreams and thrive for management positions. This will ensure the upliftment of their careers and the economy of the country as well. Having men and women both on board will help the startups and MNCs to manage their workforce. The participation of women in the leadership roles will increase the chance of companies becoming successful.
