Susana Alejandro becomes President & CEO of Saica Group

Succeeding Ramón Alejandro, Susana Alejandro becomes President and CEO of Saica Group. She has secured her position as the 1st woman in organisation to hold up such place. Her tenure became effective from July 1, 2024. In addition, she is representing founding families’ 3rd generation.

Susana has been working with the organisation since 1996, dedicating over 25 years of her professional life. Prior to this firm, she was the Department financier at Mars for 3 years. Her commitment towards Saica has paid off her hard work and today she has made history in the organisation.

Expressing her gratitude, Susana stated, “I am proud to become the visible head of Saica and its great team, and I am well aware of what it implies.”

Moreover, after her joining, she messaged all stakeholder groups saying, “As a family business, we have a clear long-term vision and, therefore, succession in presidency does not necessarily imply a change in strategy. Our course variations are dictated only by the requirements of our customers and market fluctuations.”

She also urged the requirement to address “climatic change, which forces us to reformulate our production and consumption models while advancing our commitment to a circular economy”.
