Philippines' ADB signs MoU with Mastercard Impact Fund for Female-led MSMEs in APAC
Recently, Asian Development Bank has made an announcement stating that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mastercard Impact Fund which is getting administered by the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth. The partnership aims at offering financing to Micro, small and medium enterprises from the Asia-Pacific region.
Over 40 Women Graduated from CyprusInno's 2024 AWE
In a recent announcement, 2024 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) has successfully concluded by CyprusInno, a Non-profit social venture and think tank, powered by SocialTech Lab in Cyprus. The programme was supported by US Embassy in Nicosia for the second year and backed by Chevron for the first time.
In addition, the programme provided aspiring and established women entrepreneurs with free training with an intent towards aiding them to launch as well as scale their businesses. Over 40 women graduated from the programme, receiving hands-on mentoring along with training at The Base by CyprusInno.
DDA to host All-Female Exhibition at Cornell Art Museum
In a recent announcement, Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has revealed that it will be presenting the Cornell Art Museum’s new exhibition, ‘Mirror, Mirror: Celebrating Women in the Arts’ which is an all-female exhibition. The exhibition to be held at Cornell Art Museum in Lower NE and SE galleries.
The exhibition shall highlight international Women’s Month which is to be held in March, by presenting regional artists who are celebrating through their art as well as womanhood’s universal reflections and lastly their experiences.
NY-Based GPCA Introduces 1st Southeast Asia Women Investors Directory
Global Private Capital Association (GPCA), a non-profit, independent membership organization, has introduced the first-ever Southeast Asia Women Investors Directory that focuses on women investors’ increasing visibility in the vicinity. It will foster connection while tracking their growth periodically.
This directory has been developed under the support of an Australian Government initiative ‘Investing in Women’. It aims at featuring 365 female investment professionals who are actively managing private capital within asset classes that includes private equity, venture capital, private credit, infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate.

Carol Hamilton, L'Oreal USA's Group President of Acquisitions, has announced her retirement. With over 40 years of experience, she led the development and launch of L'Oreal's West Coast headquarters of 120,000 sqft and embraced gender equality and philanthropy. Carol plans to continue working in the beauty industry post-retirement.
