Dubai Police's all-female SWAT force excels in confrontation

At the fourth UAE SWAT Challenge 2023 in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai, the all-female SWAT squad of the Dubai Police astounded police commanders, SWAT teams, and spectators with their "amazing endurance, excellent abilities, and impressive performance."

The only female team competing in the challenge successfully established its presence and shown its capacity to aggressively participate in all challenges, including those created for SWAT teams made up entirely of men.

International Cricket Council to develop roadmap for integrating female umpires onto top panels

The International Board of Cricket is developing a plan to increase the number of female umpires on its panel. There are presently just men on the panel. This choice was made after the ICC successfully hosted a Women's T20 World Cup with a team made up entirely of female match officials. ICC is now trying to allow female umpires officiate in international matches including males as well.

The ICC wants to make cricket umpiring gender-neutral. Adding extra female officials to some of the men's bilateral matches is their first order of business. The goal, according to a source from the ICC, is to let both men and women to serve on the Elite panel. Also, they will be helped by the chances offered to members during their home games.

ELFA releases Schedule for 2023 Women's Leadership Forum

The 2023 ELFA Women's Leadership Conference agenda was released by the Equipment Leasing and Financing Association. It will take place April 3–4, 2023, at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. 

The two-day conference, which is being hosted by the ELFA Women's Council, will emphasize leadership training for women in equipment financing at all career phases. Keynote speakers, trending sessions, and interactive networking opportunities will all be on the schedule and centred on the subject of "Leading with Your Whole Self."

WBE Canada hosted Breakfast with Brands that provide the access to Procurement Networks to Women Owned Companies

According to recent data from the Dubai Land Department (DLD), about 26,698 women have invested in real estate investments, contributing over AED 58.8 billion to the growing sector. Women now in Dubai currently own 30% of the property, according to a recent Dubai Government study. Almost 23,000 enterprise businesses owned by Emirati women are valued at AED 50 billion in the country.

Henry Schein, Inc. Author and entrepreneur Erica Dhawan will be the keynote speaker at the 2023 Women in DSO event, "Empower and Grow 2023," taking place March 8–10 in Las Vegas at the Aria Resort and Casino. 

Ogilvy announces hiring of two Women executives to bolster North American leadership

Ogilvy New York's new president, Darla Price, will oversee all facets of the company's operations in the areas of advertising, public relations, experiences, consulting, and health. She succeeds Carina De Blois, who has been elevated to the position of Chief Operational Officer at Ogilvy North America. 

Carina will collaborate with regional leaders to unleash the potential of the company's aggregate skills, providing clients with innovative solutions that are highly agile and effective. Both will be directly responsible to DevikaBulchandani, Ogilvy's global CEO.
