TVing Appoints Choi Ju-hui as CEO making her First Female Head in Korean Streaming Industry

Leading Korean entertainment company CJ ENM has announced the appointment of Choi Ju-hui as CEO of streaming service TVing. The move came after CEO Jay Yang resigned from his post. This makes Choi the first female CEO to lead an OTT platform in Korean so far.

Recently the merger between TVing and Seezn, a smaller streamer previously owned by KT Corp was also completed. The move is expected to save costs in marketing and help with customer acquisition, which will benefit from KT’s network of 14 million subscribers.

The National Incubation Centre (NIC) in Peshawar, Pakistan hosted a health awareness symposium with the theme "Psychological & physical wellbeing of working women" where clinical specialists discussed urgent challenges endangering the physical & mental health of women.

According to a press release, Saira Qureshi, Executive Board Member of the Pakistan-US Alumni Network (PUAN) KP Chapter, organised the event with assistance from the US Mission and support from PUAN.

Melissa Binder Appointed President of Women Investment Professionals (WIP)

Melissa Binder, a managing director on the distribution team at PPM America, Inc. (PPM), has been selected to lead Women Investment Professionals (WIP) starting from July 1, 2023. PPM announced the appointment, recognizing Melissa's extensive experience and dedication to WIP throughout her investment career.

Melissa has been an active member of WIP since the beginning of her investment journey in 2006. Joining PPM in 2017, she actively participated in WIP's Events Committee and took on the role of WIP Treasurer in 2019.
