The TiE Women Global Pitch Competition, a highlight of the prestigious TiE Global Summit in Singapore, was a huge success, emphasizing creativity and empowerment. The tournament, organized by TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), promoted diversity and inclusiveness in the entrepreneurial sphere.

Over 1600 applications were received from 62 countries, demonstrating the worldwide reach and influence of female entrepreneurs. The 39 finalists competed in multiple tracks for up to $50,000 in equity-free prize money. The firms presented ground-breaking innovations in technology, healthcare, sustainability, and other fields, demonstrating the ingenuity, resilience, and tenacity of female entrepreneurs.

Asha Jadeja, founder of the Jadeja Motwani Foundation and TiE Women platinum sponsor, expressed her excitement, seeing the competition as a great platform for women entrepreneurs from the global south. The MJ Women Entrepreneurs initiative will integrate the winners into Silicon Valley, stimulating creativity and providing access to transformative technology innovations.

The proposals were extensively examined by a team of 23 judges based on originality, market potential, scalability, and effect. This year's winner, Askhita Sachdeva, Co-Founder of Trestle Labs, praised the experience as "life-changing," underlining TiE's crucial mentorship and worldwide network.

Shama Rathi of TiE Tampa and Wafa Alobaidat of TiE Dubai-Saudi Arabia earned first and second, respectively, expressing thanks for the transforming experience and the supporting TiE community.

TiE Women, a TiE Global program, continues to promote entrepreneurship by networking, mentoring, incubating, teaching, and investing. With over 5500 applications received, 13 women-led firms have received equity-free prizes totaling $350,000 through yearly worldwide pitch contests.

Asha Jadeja, a notable venture investor and founder of the Motwani Jadeja Family Foundation, is continuing her charitable efforts to promote entrepreneurship. In 2023, she co-founded the Motwani Women Entrepreneurs Fellowship with TiE Global, which will assist 40 innovative female entrepreneurs from India, the Middle East, and Africa.
