UKEF partners with Female Founder Finance to Aid Female-Owned Businesses

Recently, UK Export Finance (UKEF) has partnered with Female Founder Finance with an intent to aid more businesses access that are owned by women for finance assistance for them to grow and scale their business. This partnership has been made in order to help these businesses compete in international stage.

Founded in 1919, UKEF caters in the Financial Services industry with headquarters in London, having specialities in Export finance and insurance. In addition, Female Founder Finance was founded in the year 2023, catering in the same industry as UKEF. It specialises in commercial finance, female led business, female entrepreneurs, and access to finance.

UK Export Finance CEO Tim Reid stated, “Supporting small businesses is a priority at UKEF. Each year we support a large number of small businesses. Just last year, 88% of businesses to which we provided a loan, guarantee or insurance were small or medium-sized businesses. By partnering up with Female Founder Finance we will reach out to more women-owned businesses, providing financing to support them to increase their exporting capacity.”

Moreover, Female Founder Finance’s Founder Roxanne Goodman added, “By working in partnership with UK Export Finance we can equip women-led businesses with the knowledge and funding they need, and empowering them to reach new international markets, fuelling growth and innovation through export finance, and adding back to the growth of the UK. Together, we can open doors to new markets, drive innovation, and ensure that the voice of women entrepreneurs resonates worldwide.”
