U.S. Consulate General Curacao collaborates with Islandpreneur

In order to empower women entrepreneurs, U.S. Consulate General Curacao has announced a collaboration with Islandpreneur. A transformative conference entitled ‘Islandpreneur POWER Fest’ to be held from June 27-29 at Simpson Bay Beach Resort, Sint Maarten. The complete focus of this conference shall be on equipping Dutch Caribbean’s and United States’ women entrepreneurs with tools in addition to strategies for improved benefit.

This collaboration relies solely on the launch of U.S. State Department’s POWER (Providing Opportunities for Women’s Economic Rise) program in the year 2019. The program supports diplomatic resources and amalgamates the U.S. private sector to provide women entrepreneurs with proper access to essential skills in addition to professional networks.

Additionally, Islandpreneur is a digital media house which has been founded in the year 2020 with specialities in entrepreneurship, networking, consulting, innovation, impact investing, virtual events, market development, business connecting, strategy, project management, and islandpreneurship.

POWER’s top key focus is economic empowerment through 3 key points:
