The charity part of SEAT Caribbean LLC, the SEAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (SEAT IEC), has launched applications for the Three Queens Ventures Women's Business Accelerator Program, which targets female entrepreneurs in the US Virgin Islands.
The fourth cohort of this initiative seeks female small-batch makers of packaged food and beverage products who live and work in the US Virgin Islands. The project, which aims to promote business growth, provides a customized business development program that includes skill development, information acquisition, training, and mentorship from industry specialists.
Participants will not only obtain knowledge of excellent business practices, but will also have access to seed capital and possible market collaborations, both of which are critical for business growth. Three Queens Ventures' main mission is to build a network of like-minded women committed to expanding their companies for success, creating job opportunities, and supporting economic growth in the US Virgin Islands.
Verna Walcott, a third cohort member, lauded the program, saying, "The Three Queens Ventures program provided me and my business, Just Drinks VI LLC, with a range of valuable benefits." She emphasized the acquisition of new tools, the development of confidence, and the formation of strong relationships with peers and mentors for continued support.
Applications for the fourth cohort of the program are being accepted until Monday, January 30. Interested entrepreneurs may visit the SEAT IEC website to apply.
