After a major party presidential nomination acceptance, Vice President Kamala Harris has made history as the first Black woman and first Indian American to attempt such thing. She called on the entire country “to move past the bitterness, cynicism and divisive battles of the past.”

While addressing the Democratic delegates, California Democrat said, “On behalf of everyone whose story could only be written in the greatest nation on Earth, I accept your nomination.” If she gets elected then she will become the first ever Californian in the Oval Office since President Reagan.

VP Kamala gave almost 40-minute speech that involved her personal story. She also indicated towards former President Donald Trump stating him as an unfit leader commenting “he only fights for himself and his billionaire friends.”

She said, “Her election offers a chance to chart a new way forward. Not as members of any one party or faction, but as Americans. I will be a president who unites us around our highest aspirations. A president who leads and listens, who is realistic, practical and has common sense. In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man. But the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious. Consider the power he will have — especially after the United States Supreme Court just ruled that he would be immune from criminal prosecution.”
