Wipro, an Indian leading technology services and consulting company, while making an announcement stated that it has signed a tripartite deal with an intent to set up first all-women business and technology park of Saudi Arabia. The firm has collaborated with Saudi Aramco as well as Princess Nourah University in order to make the aim possible.
Headquartered in India’s Bangalore, the firm focuses on building innovative solutions in order to address most complex digital transformation needs of the clients. It specialises in Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing, Business Application Services, Infrastructure Management, Cloud Services and much more.
In statement, Wipro stated, “The Women's Business Park (WBP) is a result of a joint venture between Princess Nourah University (PNU), the largest women's university in the world and Wipro Arabia Ltd. The project is expected to create nearly 21,000 jobs by 2025.”
Continued statement says, “WBP is envisioned to be the largest engineering drafting services, business process services and IT hub in the region for industry sectors including oil and gas, government, manufacturing, healthcare, telecom and construction. Dedicated to working women, this business park is a first of its kind project aimed at providing knowledge-based employment for women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
