An interactive session entitled ‘Rocket Your Career in STEM’ has been organised by Women in Tech Sri Lanka which was attuned for the corporate women working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field.
The primary aim of the program was to provide tools and insights to the participants that are required to levitate into leadership positions in their respective fields. During the workshop, the attendees got the chance to gain insights and knowledge from Taz Rajabali, a HR and Recruitment Specialist, Consultant and International Trainer.
Women in Tech Sri Lanka’s Chapter Ambassador, Chathini Uduwana stated, “Taz’s expertise provided attendees with invaluable insights into career acceleration strategies, effective communication of value, and overcoming challenges in STEM. His hands-on guidance on goal-setting, accountability and emphasising the importance of quantifiable outcomes resonated deeply with participants. In the end, they were able to consider what grassroots changes they could make to progress to the next stage in STEM, particularly leadership.”
While adding to the statement, she said, “He also led interactive exercises on networking and troubleshooting, creating an engaging and supportive environment among attendees. By encouraging open dialogue and collective problem-solving, they were able to tackle career-related challenges with creativity and resilience.”
