Women Entrepreneurs Fall Event to be held on Sept. 7

Women Entrepreneurs Fall Event by SCORE Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Entrepreneurship Program is all set to be held on September 7, 2024. It has been scheduled to take place at Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center.

This event shall feature women business leaders as well as funding experts’ insights while giving the opportunity to network over lunch. The event is based on a first come first serve basis. This particular event will aid women entrepreneurs to network with their peers while learning to find and request finance and funding for their business ventures.

Tricia Brace, SCORE Indianapolis mentor is an event organizer who stated that the event is providing funding options’ overview for attendees that includes grants, microloans as well as traditional bank loans.

For the event, Tricia will be coordinating with Sylanda McKinnor, SCORE mentors of Fishers; Geist’s Chris Ward; Near Eastside’s Debbie Guy.

Tricia said, “A lot of people don’t even know what microlending is. Or what steps they need to take to secure funding.”

The event will serve as a platform for women entrepreneurs or businesswomen to find opportunities to scale their business and play in the bigger market with time, by building connections with industry experts and other players.
