The much awaited Women Economic Forum (WEF) Caribbean is scheduled to return to Puerto Rico for a third year in a row from November 13 to November 17 at the Metropolitan Campus of Interamerican University in San Juan. The emphasis of this year's event, with the subject "Empowertech," will be on the significant role that technology plays in resolving present and upcoming problems.

The WEF Caribbean event, which aims to empower women in business, provides a significant forum for women, young people, foundations, nongovernmental organisations, influencers, decision-makers, the media, and governmental organisations to come together, work together, and push projects for the empowerment of women.

"Puerto Rico boasts an innovation ecosystem with exceptional institutions, thriving business incubators, and a robust high-tech industry cluster, establishing itself as a global competitive destination," said Johanna Salgado, Director of the Women Economic Forum Caribbean.

The forum's schedule includes lively debates, incisive talks, and interesting panels, as well as a trade show that provides entrepreneurs and businesswomen with beneficial networking chances to make important connections and form powerful partnerships. The signing of the Pact of the Americas, a regional agreement to advance gender equality and women's empowerment, will also take place at the event.

The event, which will focus on four important areas—women's rights, new technology, climate change, and developing aerospace opportunities—is anticipated to bring more than 150 eminent experts from Puerto Rico and Latin America and anticipates around 500 attendees from Puerto Rico and beyond.

This UN Women-endorsed event is well situated as a forum for developing vital connections, creating strategic partnerships, and encouraging active women's engagement in business and technology.

Despite the fact that women are the subject of our major attention, Salgado emphasised that "we extend a warm invitation to the entire population, including young people and men, as we are dedicated to promoting inclusion, the cornerstone of a prosperous society."

Distinguished attendees at the discussion will include Estefana Soto, Development Supervisor of Miss Universe Puerto Rico, Mara Fernanda Espinosa, Former President of the UN General Assembly, and Liza Garca, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Government of Puerto Rico.

The forthcoming event's organiser, Johanna Salgado, stated her excitement for it, saying, "This third edition will be a space brimming with inspiration and motivation for all participants, providing an invaluable opportunity to learn from the experiences of our esteemed speakers and embrace empowering models."

The WEF Caribbean is destined to be a change-agent when it returns to Puerto Rico, advancing women's emancipation and promoting an atmosphere of cooperation and creativity in the business and technology sectors.
