A 5-day boot camp has been organized, hoping to provide women with the required tools that shall help them to start their own business. The camp was hosted with an intent to encourage women towards entrepreneurship.
Being an entrepreneur herself, Computer Basics Founder Ashley Pannell through her company, has teamed up with Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project in order to organize the Entrepreneur Boot Camp specifically for Women.
Besides Computer Basics, Ashley is also the event strategist at THE FUN (WE LOVE THE FUN, LLC) for last 9 months, Career Pathways Coordinator at Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board for over 2 years, Director of Sales Marketing at She’s International Boutique for nearly 3 years in a contract.
In addition, she has joined Here@Home, intending to talk about the opportunities for 10 women and encourage them to take part in the workshop, free of cost. In her explanation, she said that daily interactions will be there, with successful entrepreneurs and they shall get assistance for building a business plan too.
Concluding, the boot camp shall be held August 12-16 in Roanoke at the Melrose Branch Public Library. The time schedule for the camp is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
