Youlanda M. Gibbons named as Most Trusted Professional by The Inner Circle

Youlanda M. Gibbons is the most prominently featured person by The Inner Circle. She is recognized as the Most Trusted Professional for her contributions to Leadership and Education. She is a Ph.D. scholar of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as well as she received a Master of Social Work from Boston University.

Dr. Youlanda worked as a diversity strategist for the Department of Commerce Census Bureau from 2013 to 2020 after that she is presently placed as the CEO of The Partnership for Inclusion Leadership, which is a female-owned firm founded by her.

Dr. Youlanda stated about her inspiration is former President Barack Obama. His proclamation requiring the federal government to adopt a strategy to increase diversity and inclusion inspired her. She is diversely experienced but still, she notices a remarkable synergy among her professional appointments.

She even worked as a senior consultant and social scientist for diversity and inclusion matters for Curtis Lewis & Associates PC from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, she founded the Diversity, Inclusion, and Innovation in Government Initiative.

She stated that her complete mission is built upon a stage of diversity and inclusion principles, topics, and values. As a prominent advisor, she suggested:

The Secretary of Defense prioritizes certain instructional policies.

She introduced competency-based approaches to redefine military leadership training and development, assisting in the refinement of the Department of Defense Center of Excellence regarding its vision, mission, and governance.

She has even contributed to the realignment of the protocols of military education and training.

Dr. Youlanda has also received some major awards for her contributions like the Washington Business Journal Award, Black Leadership Award, Women Worth Watching Award, Stevie Award as well as the Women of the Year in Government, and many more.

She has also made her contributions to the ongoing scholarly discussion in the book "The Business of Diversity" which was published in 2011.
