Place of Women in History

In the history of very country in the world, women were considered weak and were not allowed to take decision or rise to power. Almost every country, no matter how progressive has a history of ill-treating women. So women all over the world have been so much rebellious to reach the status they have today.  While the western countries are still making progress, third world countries like India still lack behind in Women Empowerment. When guaranteed through equal opportunity, choice and access to resources, women's full participation in society and the economy multiplies the capacity of all for sustainable economic growth and social development.

Breaking the Stereotypes

The world is full of inspiring women who have overcome obstacles to be leaders in their respective fields and community, and as we all know, female role models can have an enormous impact in encouraging women to challenge negative stereotypes and to shake up the status quo in the workplace and wider society. Asian women, especially women from that of countries embedded within strong patriarchal cultural heritages, often experience more structural/organizational barriers and challenges, compared with women in more gender-neutral cultures. Here, in this issue we are introducing a list of such `Top 10 Asia's Powerful Business Women­ 2023'. These young women have risen to top positions and have become inspiring leaders; their stories will be a true motivation to women all over the world, who want to chase their dreams. The following list has been prepared after being closely scrutinized by a distinguished panel of judges including CXOs, analysts and our editorial board.
