Could you share insights into the early years of your life? What pivotal experiences or influences during that time played a significant role in shaping the person you are today?
When I look back on my life, I see that core traits like ambition, strength, curiosity, and a drive to succeed have always been integral to who I am. These qualities seem almost ingrained in my DNA. However, in my youth, this energy wasn't always well-directed, and key influences shaped my journey. My mother was a significant force in my life. Despite not having the chance to attend high school, marrying young, and raising three children, she never lost her spirit of achievement, curiosity, or passion for culture. She rebelled against traditional roles, and her influence, along with my father's support, allowed me to attend Bocconi University in Milan, even though it was financially challenging for my family.
Another pivotal figure was my high school Literature Teacher, who, despite my success in writing, encouraged me to pursue a degree in science or economics. Had I followed only my passion, I might have studied literature and perhaps become a writer or journalist—my childhood dreams. Yet, this decision shaped my current path. My experience as a teenage animator in a local oratory also played a crucial role, teaching me valuable skills in team management, communication, and problem-solving.

Throughout my career, the leaders who believed in me and provided opportunities for growth were instrumental in my development. They taught me through example, fostering my capabilities. My first job at Morgan Stanley in London, particularly as a junior Financial Analyst in the M&A department, set the foundation for my professional approach—focused on results, analysis, decision-making, and action.
Could you share the key areas of expertise you’ve honed throughout your journey as a business leader?
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong foundation in several key areas essential to effective business leadership. My expertise in analysis and strategy allows me to craft informed decisions and long-term plans that drive success. I have a deep understanding of business development, ensuring continuous growth and expansion opportunities. My focus on operational excellence ensures that every process is streamlined for maximum efficiency. I also prioritize organization, ensuring that teams are structured and resources are allocated effectively. Additionally, I really value building and maintaining strong customer relationships, which are crucial for sustaining business success.

As CEO, my key responsibilities include building and inspiring the team, fostering a culture of achievement and cooperation, ensuring swift and effective decision-making, driving continuous improvement, managing stakeholders, and taking responsibility for the Group's success. These challenges align perfectly with my passion for leading strong, dynamic organizations with significant growth potential.
The journey of a business leader is filled with challenges. Could you shed some light on the major obstacles you face in your current role and how you navigate these roadblocks?
The main challenge is steering the organization in the right direction to achieve desired results, which requires the collective effort of employees and stakeholders. Understanding the market, customers, competitors, and the company's history is crucial to devising a successful strategy. Once a clear direction is set, engaging the entire organization is essential, especially in overcoming initial resistance and fostering trust and enthusiasm. I personally engage with management, teams, and workers, listening and involving them in the process. I also promote inter-functional collaboration and a culture of setting and measuring objectives to maintain focus and drive rapid change.
What do you consider to be your biggest professional achievements so far, and what has been your success mantra as a leader?
My biggest professional achievements revolve around delivering positive results that satisfy all stakeholders and bring smiles to our employees' faces. Each success, whether securing a major project, recruiting top talent, enhancing KPIs, or awarding incentives for achieved results, contributes to a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
