Worried that her brother would not be able to attend client calls and might lose business for that day, a child with innovative thoughts that she was, Komal knew that technology could be of great help in such situations. Although she couldn’t invest in implementing her idea as a young girl, her taste for entrepreneurship and innovation didn’t fade away. Fast forward to 2020, today, she stands as the brain behind one of the fast-emerging tech startups. ‘To turn dreams into reality, it takes the courage, self-belief, and perseverance to make a difference’. HOW HAS YOUR COMPANY’S JOURNEY BEEN SO FAR AND WHAT CHALLENGES DID YOU ENCOUNTER?
Starting-off with limited resources and bootstrapping the brand was challenging. Adding to this, another crucial challenge was onboarding the first employee and setting-up the brand presence by gaining trust. Creating an identity and gaining an initial market traction is important yet difficult. However, in a short span, we could build a strong relationship with clients and partner with global firms from the US, Nigeria, Australia, and Brazil. While hoping to grow more, I would like to say that it is a journey of continuous learning and is interesting so far.
What Opportunities Do You Foresee In The Current It Industry And How Are You Framing Your Company To Achieve Sustained Success In This Domain?
In this age of technology, we are bound to rely upon digitization and automation. Artificial Intelligence, Cloud technology, the Internet of Things, and AR/ VR are some of the crucial technologies that will rule the world and transform the global economy by 2025. Indeed the IT Industry will observe a revolution with all these technologies.
Business operations that were once done manually are now automated. Companies today are working on the perfection of a variety of new and innovative technologies and IT solutions to streamline the way they operate. In the outbreak, we began to expand the team and work on our dream project management product NioM PMO – named after my 1.5-year-old daughter Nishidha Om Mehta. This product is based on AI vision, which helps project managers to deliver their projects with a high success rate and sustain their cash flow. We have released this in the global market in Latam, Australia, Canada, and Nigeria and are stepping towards other countries as well.
