Fulya Ozturk

Fulya Öztürk is currently working at CNN Turkey as the head of Special News. She is covering the ongoing conflict from Israel. Having covered conflicts in Syria, Iran, and the Israeli-Palestinian territories, Fulya began her career as an intern with the same organisation.

She received threats on phone call and on her social media when she was reporting from Jerusalem last year, during the conflict. Deciding to continue with her work despite such threats, Fulya managed to escape a rocket attack in April 2024 while reporting on-site from Gaza.
