Bayan Abusultan

A prominent Palestinian journalist, Bayan Abusultan is from Gaza who has been actively covering the Israel-Gaza conflict. She came into attention during the intense military campaigns in 2024 because of her courageous reporting from Gaza City. By using her social media like Instagram and X, she disseminates visuals of the impact left on the civilians due to the conflict.

She calls herself a Palestinian feminist journalist and has covered many intense conflicts in the past. After a post about her brother’s killing by Israeli forces on her social media, she disappeared, indicating towards danger on her life. However, she reappeared online on March 29, 2024 stating about her well-being.
